GARCÍA, KRYSTAL: Krystal's favorite hobby is static within language and communication, mapping how it occurs with theoretical approaches from universal grammar, gestures, and known linguistic structures. Receiving a first degree in Language Studies, from the University of California, Santa Cruz, she broods over pursuing a doctoral title of worthy cause, derived from a deontological preference to help others communicate. Her related professional experience includes interpreting and translating for social compliance, methodological staff work assisting others in the writing process at the largest, single-campus community college district in California, and proofing business documents. A first-generation American, heritage Spanish speaker, and former first chair flutist for seven years, she dotingly enjoys Sing2Learn as Linguistic Project Manager, LPM, for various projects. "Language is fluid, but it is the essence of who we are as cultural human beings."
